S3 Connected Health designs, develops and delivers services and solutions for healthcare providers, pharmaceutical companies, and medical device vendors who are using connected health to improve business and clinical outcomes.

As Connected Health DevOps Intern, you will work with and learn from our highly skilled development teams, creating state-of-the-art solutions for remote patient monitoring, medication adherence and monitoring, patient support, and patient engagement.


Key Responsibilities:

Working as the DevOps Intern, you will:

  • Assist in the on-time and effective delivery of high-quality, enterprise IT application releases and projects
  • Collaborate on release processes across all functions within IT and with business stakeholders
  • Learn and implement best practices consistent with DevOps methodology and enterprise IT program management & delivery
  • Research, suggest and implement new technology solutions
  • Support the development team in continuous integration and delivery environment setup and maintenance
  • Support the team in the design and development of automated cloud deployment solutions
  • Learn Configuration Management activities to deliver world-class solutions from the development, maintenance, and support of Medical systems
  • Learn to prepare system release packages
  • Learn to prepare, manage, and document the development and deployment environment


Qualifications and experience required:

  • At least 2nd year of university studies in a related field
  • Interest in DevOps area
  • Experience with Bash / Python / Java
  • Experience with Linux OS
  • Good knowledge of data structures and algorithms
  • Good spoken and written English
  • Experience with Hyper-V/VirtualBox
  • Excellent team player


Having any of the following will be a distinct advantage:

  • Experience in CI/CD systems: Jenkins / TeamCity / Bamboo
  • Experience with Artifactory / Nexus
  • Experience with container management solutions: Kubernetes, Docker, Helm
  • Experience with cloud environments (Microsoft Azure, AWS)
  • Experience with configuration management tools: Ansible, Puppet, Chef
  • Experience with infrastructure as a code approach (Terraform / Terragrunt / Cloudformation)
  • Experience with Maven / Gradle / GNU Make
  • Experience with Git and Git hooks
