As an NLP Intern in the Publishing Engineering and Information Development teams based in EMEA, you will collaborate with writers and engineers in Nuremberg, Wrocław, Barcelona, and US to learn how to source, curate, publish, and analyze information at scale for various technologies in Dolby. Your main tasks will be to consult and provide expertise towards building NLP/ML algorithms that analyze large collections of text data. These algorithms will be used to provide information to new user interfaces, such as learning systems and requirements management tools.
Responsibilities:
- Assist with analyzing a large corpus of strings
- Build models that provide guidance on sentence structure and style.
- Contribute towards designing the logic for a string comparison tool that provides recommendations based on how close a set of strings match, contextually.
- Contribute towards the authoring experience for this tool.
- Build a basic understanding of how content is authored for various projects in Dolby.
Qualifications:
- Knowledge and expertise in Natural Language Processing, Computer Science, or Linguistics
- A keen interest in Languages, Translation, and the latest technologies related
- Some knowledge in Machine Learning
- Some experience in scripting
- Good English skills: written and spoken
- Experience with Python programming
