Customs Clearance & Logistics Specialist 1 views

Responsibilities

  1. Oversee customs clearance processes for imported goods for Kingfa Europe, Kingfa Poland, and Kingfa Morocco.
  2. Monitor and track the transportation status of shipments from China to the EU and Morocco.
  3. Continuously develop expertise in international trade procedures within the EU and African markets.
  4. Ensure accurate classification of goods by providing correct HS codes and applicable tariff rates for customs declarations.
  5. Manage and resolve customs clearance exceptions in a timely and efficient manner.
  6. Ensure the timely completion of customs clearance procedures.
  7. Monitor and ensure the prompt delivery of goods from ports to designated warehouses.
  8. Control and minimize abnormal costs at EU ports, including storage and container detention fees.
  9. Proactively identify, track, and mitigate customs clearance irregularities.

This role requires close collaboration with both external stakeholders and internal departments, including customs authorities across various countries, local logistics providers, as well as the Sales, Customer Service, Finance, Planning, and Warehousing teams, and external Kingfa warehouse partners.

Requirements

  1. Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Logistics, International Trade, Finance, Statistics, or a related field.
  2. Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel.
  3. Strong analytical skills with the ability to utilize data analysis and statistical methods to proactively identify and mitigate declaration risks and transportation irregularities.
  4. Detail-oriented with excellent communication skills and a strong ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
  5. Fluency in English (minimum CEFR Level B2 or equivalent). Proficiency in Chinese is considered an advantage.
