Working Student is a long-term paid internship, that allows you to kickstart your fabulous journey in the IT and Telecom world. As our Trainee you can have experience working in such areas that correspond to full-time engineering jobs. The internship usually lasts from 6 to 24 months. Position: Embedded C Co-op/Intern
Duration: 12 months (possibility to prolong to the next 12 months)
Date: 1.12.2024 – 30.11.2025 (possibility to prolong)
Location: Poland (hybrid in Wroclaw)

Education Recommendations: Currently a candidate from the field of study as Computer Science, Telecommunications, and similar

The team you’ll be part of is responsible for starting Linux on an embedded platform. This includes preloaders (SoC specific implementation, U-Boot/SPL) and initial Linux configuration (SW and HW). We are responsible for low-level drivers based on U-Boot/Linux frameworks like GPIO, I2C, SPI, and other HW-specific interfaces. We also deliver Linux low-level user space applications/libraries (e.g. spi lib) for other components written in C/C++.

HOW YOU WILL CONTRIBUTE AND WHAT YOU WILL LEARN

As part of our team, you will: 

  • Developing, and implementing software utilizing the latest software best practices
  • Analyzing and solving engineering problems and hitches in U-Boot and Linux area

KEY SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

You have: 

  • Active student status (for at least one year)
  • Good English, both spoken and written
  • Good knowledge of C language
  • Knowledge of embedded system concepts
  • Knowledge of U-Boot and Linux
  • Drive to learn

 It would be nice if you also had:

  • Knowledge of basic HW interfaces: I2C, SPI, UART, GPIO
  • Basic knowledge of network interfaces
  • Version control systems (Git)
  • Basic Yocto usage
