Program Overview
We are seeking Accounts Receivable Intern(s) to support our global AR team in managing the Collections. The primary focus will be on collections for customers in the US and Canada.
This internship offers hands-on exposure to real-world finance operations in a fast-growing SaaS environment, including communication with North American customers, understanding billing processes, and resolving outstanding accounts.
Interns will assist with outreach to customers, resolving overdue items, updating account notes, and supporting our Zendesk ticket backlog. In some cases, tasks may require late-afternoon or early-evening hours due to time zone differences – this will give interns valuable experience in client communication, business English, and handling real customer situations.

Key Responsibilities:

      • Support the collections process by contacting customers via email and phone regarding overdue invoices. High sense of urgency to get the open balances collected.
      • Update account notes, follow-up logs, and status details in NetSuite and Zendesk.
      • Review and categorize Zendesk tickets, respond to simple inquiries, and escalate complex issues to AR specialists.
      • Assist with clearing the historical backlog of aged invoices, untouched accounts, and pending customer responses.
      • Run aging reports and support the team with weekly metrics and customer summaries and participate on weekly account reviews
      • Collaborate with Cash App and Billing teams to reconcile payments, credits, and unapplied amounts.

Qualifications:

      • Enrolled or recent graduate in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field.
      • Strong communication skills in English (written and spoken); comfort with customer-facing communication is a plus.
      • Interest in finance, billing processes, and customer account management.
      • Strong organization and analytical skills; attention to detail.
      • Familiarity with Excel; exposure to NetSuite, Zendesk, or other ERP/CRM tools is an asset (not required).

      • Learn how to manage customer accounts, aging reports, and collections pipelines.
      • Develop communication skills through direct interaction with US and Canadian customers.
      • Understand end-to-end billing, cash application, and dispute resolution processes.
      • Acquire hands-on skills in NetSuite, Zendesk, and AR workflow tools.
      • Strengthen business English through real case handling and customer follow-ups.
