Your responsibilities
- Monitor and analyze alerts related to server infrastructure and internal corporate network to identify potential security incidents.
- Perform initial triage and investigation of security events, escalating incidents as necessary to higher-level SOC teams.
- Analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve alerts related to server infrastructure and internal corporate network.
- Follow knowledge articles to provide effective support for these systems.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams of IT professionals to troubleshoot and resolve issues.
- Track the progress and resolution of all reported issues.
- Collaborate with tier 3 teams, ISPs, and other service and hardware providers to escalate and resolve support issues.
- Coordinate remotely with local site contacts to troubleshoot and resolve connectivity and circuit issues.
- Escalate critical issues to the Shift Supervisor and support teams as necessary.
- Complete assigned project tasks under the guidance of the Shift Supervisor.
Our requirements
- Minimum B2 level English.
- Desire to learn and willingness to apply theory in practice.
- Basic knowledge of network protocols.
- Basic knowledge of server and telecommunication systems, such as network architectures and Internet technologies.
- Strong written communication skills, including the ability to document operations procedures effectively.
- Strong verbal communication skills, including professional customer service skills and the ability to effectively collaborate with hardware and software vendors during troubleshooting.
Optional
- Knowledge of monitoring systems such as: Orion, Meraki, PRTG, vCenter, vSphere.
- Experience with ITSM systems.
