Position: UX Designer – Working Student
Duration: 12 months (possibility to prolong for the next 12 months)
Location: Poland, Wroclaw
Date: 1.02.2025 -31.01.2026 (possibility to prolong)
Education Recommendations: field of study as Computer Science and similar
Network & Performance Engineering team creates unique connection between telco domain know-how, wide range of well-designed tools and data science capabilities. Our main target is to provide in-depth technical expertise for Radio products with focus on 5G solutions.
HOW YOU WILL CONTRIBUTE AND WHAT YOU WILL LEARN
As part of our team, you will:
- Develop a comprehensive design system that ensures consistency and meets the specific needs of our team and product
- Work with the team to review, enhance, and create UI elements that improve the overall user experience
- Leverage your expertise in web design, accessibility standards, and UX/UI practices
- Occasionally design clear and informative graphics for technical documentation, ensuring they are visually appealing and easy to understand
- Create engaging visual content for a variety of Nokia internal platforms
- Collaborate with cross-disciplinary teams to refine and elevate the visual style of ongoing projects, ensuring they are user-friendly and cohesive
KEY SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
You have :
- Active student status
- Good English language
- Currently enrolled in a Graphic Design, UX/UI Design, or a related degree program
- A strong portfolio showcasing your knowledge of design principles, UI/UX best practices, and creative visual communication
- Proficiency in design software like Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign)
- Experience creating graphics that effectively simplify and clarify technical information for documentation purposes
- Understanding of accessibility and responsive design principles
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work closely with various teams
- A passion for design, a keen eye for detail, and a desire to grow and learn in the field of UX/UI design
