Position Overview: 
We are seeking a motivated Software Development Intern for a 3-month placement within Controlant’s Technology Department. In this role, you will contribute to the development of our cloud-based platform and internal systems that support our teams. This internship offers hands-on experience in software development within a structured environment, providing opportunities to collaborate with both technical and non-technical stakeholders. You’ll gain a strong foundation for learning and professional growth in a fast-paced, high-impact environment.

Key Responsibilities: 

• Contribute to the design and implementation of components or systems based on defined requirements, aligned with discipline standards and practices.

• Collaborate with international team members and stakeholders to understand business and technical needs.

• Support requirement analysis and participate in technical design sessions.

• Deliver scoped tasks or features with guidance, ensuring work is reliable, maintainable, and meets quality expectations.

• Assist in testing, validation, troubleshooting, or monitoring of team deliverables, depending on discipline.

• Document technical work clearly and accurately to support maintainability and handover.

• Work within Controlant’s processes, safety requirements, and quality standards.

• Seek feedback, apply learnings, and proactively improve your own ways of working.

Qualifications: 

• At least two years of study towards a university degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

• Programming knowledge in at least one of the following languages: C# (.NET) or Python; TypeScript/React is a plus.

• Experience with Git and version control workflows.

• Detail-oriented and methodical, with a strong desire to grow technical depth.

• Collaborative, curious, and comfortable asking for guidance.

• Good written and spoken English.

• Located in Wroclaw and ready to work in hybrid mode (50% on-site).

Nice to Have:

• A portfolio of coding side projects or open-source contributions.

• Experience with Jira or similar issue-tracking systems.

• Familiarity with Terraform (Infrastructure as Code) or other IaC tools.

• Understanding of AWS or other cloud computing platforms.
