Development Mentoring Program
2020/2021
Regulations
The Development Mentoring Program takes place:
1. project implementation date: August 2020 – June 2021;
2. publication of Mentors’ profiles on Career Services website: October 2020;
3. the date of Mentee’s meetings: January 2021 – May 2021
4. the project assumes free of charge meetings of Disciples with Masters.
5. the meetings are held in a one-on-one relationship;
6. participants of the project are Mentor and Mentee;
7. the condition of participation in the program is the consent to the processing of data and making the image public.
Mentee – Student, PhD student at the Wrocław University of Technology
– initiates the first meeting with the Mentor within the deadline set by the organizer;
– actively participate in meetings with the Mentor according to the planned schedule;
– informs the Mentor, and then the designated employee of the PWr Career Office, about possible changes related to participation in the project;
– takes part in workshops, conferences, online meetings, etc. planned within the project.
– keeps the rules of confidentiality valid in the company which employs his or her Mentor;
– participates in the evaluation of the project.
Mentor – alumni of the Wrocław University of Technology
– an employee of an enterprise or a self-employed, possesses interpersonal skills at the level enabling sharing his or her own knowledge and experience;
– prepares and sends a biography with a photo and fills in the application form made available electronically by the PWr Career Office;
– acquainting himself with the candidates for the Mentee (during online meetings or on the basis of application documents), and then making a selection;
– in justified cases, acquaint the Mentee with the rules of health & safety, work regulations and rules of confidentiality valid in the company;
– keeps in touch with employees of Careers office of the University and informs on any changes referring to his or her own or Mentee’s participation in the project;
– participates in events, online meetings (participation is optional but recommended);
– participates in the evaluation of the project.
Employees of the Career Services of the Wroclaw University of Science and Technology
– build networking relations of the project (share information on events in social media and on site of Careers Office of the University);
– are engaged in the recruitment of project participants;
– provide the Mentor with information about the candidates for the Mentee and organize recruitment meetings;
– coordinate activities provided for in the project (organization of workshops and conferences, substantive support, evaluation of the program);
– Issue letters of reference to the participants of the program.
I hereby give consent for my personal data and image to be processed by The Wrocław University of Science & Technology with its head office located in Wrocław 50-370, at Wybrzeże Wyspiańskiego 27, for the purposes necessary for the recruitment process under the article 13(1&2) of the Regulation of the European Parliament & Council (EU) 2016/679 as of 27 April 2016 on natural persons’ protection in scope of personal data processing and in scope of free flow of such data and in scope of repeal of the directive 95/46/WE (RODO).
