- Internship Role and Responsibilities:As a Chemical Laboratory Intern, you will be involved in various aspects of our research
and development activities. Your key responsibilities will include:- Performing research and development tasks aimed at improving existing products
- Synthesising and characterising nanomaterials for printed electronics applications
- Analysing and interpreting results to determine the physicochemical properties
and purity of materials - Documenting the laboratory results in comprehensive reports.
- Utilising or becoming familiar with methods such as DLS, UV/Vis spectroscopy, TGA,
and rheological measurements - Assisting in ensuring the smooth operation of the chemical laboratory and its equipment, while maintaining substrate/consumable supplies
Requirements:
To be successful in this internship, we are looking for a highly motivated individual who meets the following criteria:
- Higher education in Chemical Technology, Chemistry, or a related field
- Technical English proficiency enabling participation in discussions and analysis of technical literature and documents
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, willingness to work in a team, and a proactive approach to problem-solving
- High interest in conducting research and development work and a proactive approach to assigned tasks
- Responsibility for results – their consistency, quality, and efficiency
- Academic knowledge in the characterisation, evaluation, and development of metallic nanoparticle dispersion systems
Desirable Skills and Experience (Nice-to-haves):
- Experience with novel nanomaterials and product formulation
- Proficiency in operating laboratory equipment (spectrophotometer, rotary evaporator, centrifuge, viscometer, rheometer, glovebox, etc.)
