Working Conditions and Mode

  • On-site work — at the company headquarters in Byków (Długołęka municipality)
  • Working hours: 8:00–16:00, Monday–Friday
  • Graduate internship agreement (with the possibility of continuing cooperation)

Responsibilities

  • Performing laboratory work in microbiology and biotechnological processes, including conducting cultivation and experimental processes at different scales.
  • Performing analyses and activities in accordance with applicable procedures and quality standards.
  • Supporting the biotechnology team in conducting R&D research.
  • Working with scientific and industry literature.
  • Maintaining equipment functionality and proper organization and management of laboratory resources, including maintaining shared laboratory space and entrusted equipment.

Requirements

  • Ability to work with basic laboratory equipment.
  • Relevant education or currently studying in biotechnology, microbiology, chemistry, food technology, or related fields.
  • Basic knowledge of laboratory analyses in food science.
  • Knowledge of chemical/biotechnological laboratory practices and health & safety rules.
  • Accuracy, diligence, and good work organization.
  • Ability to work in a team environment in R&D.
  • Willingness to perform both routine and experimental laboratory work.
  • Ability to work with scientific and industry literature.
  • Ability to prepare analysis protocols and reports.
  • English language proficiency at minimum B2 level.

Nice to Have

  • Experience working in a biotechnology, microbiology, chemistry, or food technology laboratory.
  • Knowledge of basic microbiological techniques (plating, sterilization, media preparation, fermentation).
  • Experience performing rheological, electrochemical, or colorimetric analyses.
  • Knowledge of documentation standards for research results and laboratory records.
  • Category B driving license.
