Responsibilities

1. Main Responsibilities & Tasks

• Daily analysis of material purchasing costs and price calculations using SAP and other tools.
• Regular market analysis to assess price trends, competitor pricing, and customer demand.
• Developing and implementing pricing strategies and models aligned with business goals.
• Developing and optimizing pricing models using statistical methods, machine learning (ML), and AI techniques.
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams including Sales, Marketing, and Finance to ensure effective communication and execution of pricing strategies.
• Utilizing data analytics tools to evaluate pricing effectiveness and identify areas for improvement.
• Preparing detailed pricing reports and presentations to support data-driven decision-making for stakeholders.
• Monitoring cost and price fluctuations and analyzing their impact on sales performance and profitability.
• Optimizing pricing policies and ensuring regular updates and improvements are implemented.
• Conducting scenario analysis, simulations, and A/B testing to assess pricing impact.
• Stay current with industry trends and innovations in AI and pricing technologies.

Requirements

1. Key Skills

Technical Skills:

• Strong analytical skills with hands-on experience in data analysis, pricing models, and market intelligence.
• Proficiency in Python, R, or similar programming languages.
• Experience with machine learning frameworks (e.g., scikit-learn, TensorFlow, XGBoost) and data visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau, etc.).
• Ability to analyze information and identify trends and patterns.
• Strong understanding of statistics, modeling techniques, and optimization.
• Knowledge of AI applications in business, especially in pricing and demand forecasting.
• Proficiency in SAP would be a great advantage

Soft Skills:

• Proficiency in English, both verbal and written
• Excellent communication skills

2. Education & Experienc

• Master’s degree (or equivalent experience) in one of the following fields:
  • Data Science / Applied Mathematics / Statistics
  • Economics / Business Analytics
  • Computer Science / Artificial Intelligence
  • Industrial Engineering with a focus on operations research or optimization
• Additional knowledge of marketing, finance, or strategy is a plus.
• Experience in a Shared Services environment is a plus.
• Background in the manufacturing or industrial sector will be an asset.
