As a part of your team, you will:
• be involved in either developing, implementing, maintaining, and supporting world-class technology solutions that gives UBS the edge as the world’s leading global wealth manager
• design, build, and maintain robust data ingestion pipelines to ensure seamless data flow into our systems
• develop and manage data management solutions
• provide technology solutions that will solve business problems and strengthen our position as digital leaders in financial services
• analyse business requirements for the Chief Data Office
• design, plan and deliver sustainable solutions using modern programming languages
• see that proper operational controls and procedures are implemented to process move from test to production
• collaborate to refine user requirements though test-driven development (TDD)
• analyse root causes of incidents and provide answers
• document the provided resolutions
• perform code reviews and share results with colleagues.

Your team
You’ll be working in the Data Services team in Wroclaw. Become part of a dynamic group that delivers top-notch solutions for the ingestion and distribution of data in a Data Mesh. Our team plays a crucial role in shaping the Data Product strategy of UBS, ensuring that we stay at the forefront of innovation and excellence. If you’re passionate about data and eager to make a significant impact, this is the place for you!
Our basic requirements
We welcome applicants who have either already graduated from a recognized university or are in the final year (seventh semester) of their degree course at the start of the Program in July 2025.
For many of our technical roles, we do ask that you have already obtained a Bachelor’s degree or are studying towards a Master’s degree or equivalent qualification. No professional experience is necessary, but a computer science or computer engineering-related educational background is required.
Your expertise
• knowledge of data structures and databases,
• proficiency in at least one programming language (Java, Python, Scala),
• experience with Spark (PySpark, SparkSQL) and/or Databricks is a plus,
• experience with Machine Learning and Artificial Intelligence is a plus – PyTorch, TensorFlow, Neural Networks, LLMs,
• excellent English (written and oral).
