Your team

You’ll be working in the Credit Risk Retail & Lombard Models and Platforms stream, as part of the Technology division in Wroclaw, Poland. We provide business solutions /calculations. This benefits our Qualitative risk managers (Business counterparties). As a Junior Software Engineer, you’ll play an important role and chance to be part of reshaping of the organization structure: new technologies are being developed in the Agile methodology. Global environment (teams are working in different locations – Swiss, Poland, UK, India) and complexity of the projects will keep you challenged, and you can always count on support from the local team and management.
You will be responsible for Software development based on given requirements according to quality standards agreed within the team. Participating in the design activities and performing code reviews. Documenting the code and developed solutions
You will have close cooperation with buddy Software Engineer, Data Engineers, Chapter and Crew leads.

We welcome applicants who have either already graduated from a recognized university or are in the final year (seventh semester) of their degree course at the start of the Program in July 2025.
For many of our technical roles, we do ask that you have already obtained a Bachelor’s degree or are studying towards a Master’s degree or equivalent qualification. No professional experience is necessary, but a computer science or computer engineering-related educational background is required.

Your expertise

• software engineer/developer focused on cloud solutions within the finance sector.
• able to code in Python or other programming language.
• produce secure and clean code that is stable, operational, consistent and well-performing
• design, plan and deliver solutions in a large scale enterprise environment
• fluent written and spoken English. Strong communication skills and ability to deal effectively with people face to face and over the phone
