This is an example page. Pages are different from blog entries, because they are not only always in one place, but also appear in the site’s menu (in most themes). Most users start with a page about themselves that will familiarize them with site visitors. Such a page may contain, for example, the following text:

…or something like that:

As a new WordPress user, you should go to your dashboard to delete this page and create new ones with your own content. Have fun!
