We are looking for an intern for a 3-month (summer) period for the position of Associate Software Developer.

As an Associate Software Developer, you will be part of the Technology department at Controlant, contributing to the development and enhancement of our new cloud-based platform, Controlant Aurora, as well as other internal systems used by our support and production teams.

Working within a structured Software Development Life Cycle, you will collaborate with both technical and non-technical stakeholders to define business and technical requirements, helping to design new features or improve existing functionality.

Expected summer internship duration is 3 months.

Key Responsibilities

• Analysis and definition of functional and design requirement specifications for team’s components, based on user requirements, in collaboration with internal and external stakeholders
• Works with Tech Lead in user requirement analysis and system designs
• Collaborates with internal and external stakeholders to optimize designs for simplicity, efficiency, cost and value for customers
• Designing, implementing and releasing components according to the company’s procedures and quality standards
•  Documenting and communicating team’s component specifications, user instructions and manuals, validation documentation and other component related information
•  Seeks ways to improve the innovation process in terms of efficiency and quality, and implement changes in collaboration with the Engineering Manager and the Teach Lead
• Will partake in testing of components implemented by other teams

Expected Skills Knowledge and Expertise:

• At least 2 years of study towards a university degree in in Computer science, Engineering or similar – or experience in Software Development.
• Programming knowledge in at least one of the programming languages: C# (.NET) – preferred, Python
• Experience with Git
• Self-motivated with an ability to work autonomously
• Good written and spoken English
