Position: Lab Infrastructure Support – Working Student
Duration: 12 months with the possibility to prolong
Location: Poland, Wroclaw
Education Recommendations: Active student status for at least one year
A global R&D Laboratories organization is seeking a Working Student to join the Laboratory team (Infrastructure sub-squad) in Wroclaw. As the content owner, operator, and designer, the team ensures the operation of industry-leading R&D laboratories. In this role, you will collaborate closely with the local Laboratory team and coordinate with Laboratory teams across 16 sites worldwide.
HOW YOU WILL CONTRIBUTE AND WHAT YOU WILL LEARN
As a part of our team, you will:
- Take care of technical and engineering issues inside the laboratory
- Do simple electric and logical installations
- Electronics and electrical devices repair
- Update internal technical documentation
- Act as a liaison between the internal teams and the external subcontractors or vendors
- Participate in technical laboratory development projects
KEY SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
You should have:
- Active student’s status
- Good communication in English (both written and spoken)
- Availability to work on-site in Wroclaw in the Laboratories
- Discipline and focus on details
- Good communication and ability to maintain high standards in challenging situations
- Knowledge of basic electrical work
- Know how to read electrical and electronic diagrams
It would be nice if you also had:
- SEP certificate cat. E1 (is an advantage)
- Good soldering skills (THT/SMD)
- Knowledge of communication protocols (BLE, ESP-NOW, ZigBee, LoRa 1-wire etc.)
- Familiarity with the JIRA ticketing system
