Position: Telco System Engineer Working Student
Duration: 12 months (possibility to start full-time cooperation after the internship)
Location: Poland, Wrocław
Education Recommendations: Active student (min. 3rd year) in: Telecommunication / Teleinformatics / Electronics and Communication / Computer Engineering or related area
This internship is a great opportunity for an engineering mindset. As a Telco System Engineer Working Student, you will work in L1 Physical Layer department in a multinational team in Nokia.
HOW YOU WILL CONTRIBUTE AND WHAT YOU WILL LEARN
Working in Nokia Radio and Layer 1 department, you will learn how to:
- Engage in comprehensive training focused on 5G telecommunications technologies and solutions.
- Assist in cross-functional team troubleshooting and implementing solutions for improved debuggability/traceability methods.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and customers to enhance network performance and implementation.
- Utilize analytical skills to interpret data and improve network efficiency through problem-solving.
- Provide technical support for Nokia’s 5G Radio Access Network, including troubleshooting and problem resolution.
- Demonstrate initiative and a proactive approach towards professional development and teamwork.
Qualifications
You have:
- An active student status – at least 3rd year of: Telecommunication / Teleinformatics / Electronics and Communication / Computer Engineering or related area
- Proficiency in English, both written and verbal communication skills.
- Passion for learning and professional development in telecommunications.
- Basic knowledge of Telecommunication technologies (4G LTE, 5G).
- General interest in communication technologies (protocols, stacks and interfaces).
- Understanding of radio wave propagation, interferences, and modulation principles.
- Strong, analytical mindset with continuous learning attitude when facing complex problems.
- Basic coding skills.
