EY GDS Internship Program – Junior UX/UI Designer

The opportunity
The role is for a Junior UX/UI Designer who has a passion for creating better online and offline experiences for customers and advising top clients to make bolder choices that define the vision for the future. We are particularly interested in improving existing or creating new products or services, transforming the customer experience, accompanying transformation towards a more holistic view of customers’ interactions with an organization.
Skills and attributes for success
• Students or early professionals with education or relevant experience in digital design field
• Passion for digital design – wireframing, designing low and high-fidelity screens, prototyping
• Basic understanding of, and overall interest in, service design concepts and principles like customer journey mapping, touchpoints, and user stories
• Ability to assist in conducting market and consumer behavior research to design services that meet customer needs
• Good knowledge of Figma and PowerPoint, Excel is a plus
• Knowledge of design thinking or Agile methodology can be beneficial
• Problem-solving mindset and analytical skills are required
• Communication skills, teamwork ability, organizational skills and open to learning
• Fluent English (verbal and written communication). Knowledge of another European language is required (e.g., German, French, Italian, Spanish, Dutch)
