About THEVIPGROUP

THEVIPGROUP is a premium enterprise architecture and technology startup driven by a singular mandate: Vision, Innovation, and Progress. We specialize in bridging industries and building futures through highly scalable SaaS platforms and advanced technology infrastructure. Operating with a global mindset from our European hubs, our culture is built on high-velocity execution, integrity, and absolute client focus. Join our R&D team and gain hands-on experience architecting production-grade Generative AI solutions that impact the European business ecosystem.

The Role

We are seeking a forward-thinking, hands-on AI/ML Engineering Intern to help us push the boundaries of Generative AI. You will not just be making API calls; you will be architecting complex, stateful, multi-agent workflows. Focusing heavily on Small Language Models (SLMs), LLMs, and Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), you will build, customize, and optimize systems that solve complex, real-world enterprise challenges.

Core Responsibilities:

  • Agentic Workflow Engineering: Architect and deploy stateful, multi-actor AI applications using LangGraph, transitioning our AI capabilities from reactive to autonomous.

  • Advanced RAG Pipelines: Build and optimize sophisticated Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) pipelines to seamlessly connect LLMs with private, dynamic enterprise knowledge bases.

  • Model Customization: Fine-tune open-source models (e.g., Llama, Mistral, Phi) utilizing LoRA and QLoRA for domain-specific business tasks.

  • Prompt Engineering & Output Optimization: Design, iteratively test, and refine complex system prompts to maximize model reliability, reasoning, and output quality.

  • Evaluation & Integration: Establish strict evaluation frameworks to measure accuracy and latency, while assisting in the deployment of model endpoints into internal tools.

Candidate Profile

  • Education: Currently pursuing or a recent graduate (BSc or MSc) in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, or a related technical field.

  • Eligibility :

    • International Track: You are eligible to apply for and receive the Erasmus+ Traineeship grant from your university.

    • Domestic Track: You are a student or recent graduate of a Polish university applying for a 3-month intensive practical placement (praktyki studenckie / praktyki absolwenckie).

  • Languages: Excellent command of English (C1 level), both written and spoken.

  • Technical Stack:

    • Solid foundation in Python and deep learning frameworks (PyTorch or TensorFlow).

    • Strong, practical experience with LangGraph, LangChain, and the Hugging Face ecosystem.

    • Deep understanding of transformer architectures, embeddings, and vector databases (e.g., Pinecone, Chroma, Milvus).

The Offer

  • Elite Mentorship: Direct, hands-on guidance from the Management Board and senior technical architects.

  • Professional Training: Access to internal frameworks to rapidly build your corporate acumen and technical stack.

  • Intern of the Month Program: Formal recognition for outstanding performance, featuring monthly awards and professional highlights to showcase your talent to our global network.
