Join our dynamic team at Nokia as a Working Student – Test Automation Engineer (Python) in the RFSW Feature Verification department. You will play a important role in ensuring the quality of RF software delivered to our customers by testing the latest radio hardware (RU) with test automation. Your responsibilities

  • Prepare Python scripts, methods and test cases to execute complex testing scenarios
  • Support team with Python scripts creation to execute test cases in automatic way
  • Report testing progress
  • Cooperate with specification team and software developers
  • Prepare test environment
  • Test new features for RF software in automatic way
  • Report software issues and re-test corrections

Your skills and experience

Must-Have:

  • Student status
  • Good communication in English (both written and spoken)
  • Open to work hybrid from Wroclaw office
  • Familiarity with Python coding principles and good OOP practices
  • Practical experience in working on Linux OS using terminal
  • Knowledge of telecommunication systems (2G/3G/4G/5G)
  • Knowledge of telecom protocols, IP, and networking
  • Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills

Nice-to-Have:

  • Proficiency in programming skills other than Python
  • Knowledge in Agile / Scrum methodology
  • Basic experience Continuous Integration systems with CI tools (using i.e. Jenkins, Team City, Bamboo)
  • Basic experience in working with software versioning and revision control systems (GIT, SVN)
  • Familiarity with test tools and frameworks like Robot Framework, PyCharm, Jira
