We are looking for a motivated Electronics Engineering student to join our team at the Wrocław Technology Park (WPT) during the summer (July–September). You will help build, test, and improve hardware for the MinesEye project.
This is a hands-on engineering role. You will be involved in the whole hardware development process—from early prototypes and laboratory testing to assembling the final production units.
MinesEye is an advanced system that combines drones, sensors, and artificial intelligence to safely detect landmines and unexploded ordnance without putting people at risk.
There is also an opportunity to continue working with us after the summer on a flexible part-time basis.
Your responsibilities
- Design and test simple electronic circuits for hardware prototypes.
- Help maintain Bills of Materials (BOMs) and organize electronic component data in our inventory system.
- Assemble hardware, including mechanical assembly, soldering electronic components, cables, and waterproof connectors.
- Perform laboratory tests and help diagnose hardware issues.
- Design and update PCB layouts when needed.
Requirements
- Good understanding of basic electronics.
- Ability to read and understand electronic schematics and make simple modifications.
- Basic knowledge of communication interfaces such as UART and I²C.
- Experience with soldering and using basic workshop tools.
- Available to work full-time on-site at our office in Wrocław Technology Park during the internship.
Nice to have
- Experience using laboratory equipment such as oscilloscopes, multimeters, or bench power supplies.
- Personal electronics projects or participation in student engineering clubs. If you build robots, drones, smart home devices, or other hardware in your free time, we’d love to hear about it.
What we offer
- A well-equipped electronics workshop at Wrocław Technology Park.
- The opportunity to work on a real product that is used in demanding real-world conditions.
- Direct support from experienced hardware engineers.
- Practical experience covering the complete hardware development process, from prototype to finished product.
We are looking for people who genuinely enjoy building electronics and want to learn how a product is developed from the first schematic to the final device. If you are looking for practical engineering experience and want to work on an exciting project, we would be happy to hear from you.
