As an intern, you’ll be part of our McKinsey Knowledge Centre in Wroclaw, with a specific focus on the Life Sciences industry. This team is dedicated to assisting clients in achieving outstanding performance and fostering innovation within the life sciences sectors.
What you’ll do
We are seeking a highly motivated individual to join our dynamic team, specializing in the Life Sciences industry. The ideal candidate will have a passion for research, strong analytical skills, and a keen interest in developing knowledge within the Life Sciences sector.
You will assist your team in classic industry analyses, keep up to date with industry developments and help apply cutting-edge industry knowledge.
In this role you will:
- perform in-depth research on various aspects of the Life Sciences industry, including market trends, competitors, and emerging technologies;
- gather and analyze data from diverse sources to provide insights and support decision-making processes;
- utilize analytical tools and methodologies to interpret complex data sets and generate meaningful conclusions;
- prepare comprehensive reports and presentations based on analytical findings.
You’ll have the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in Life Sciences, collaborate with industry professionals, and enjoy flexible hours for academic commitments, fostering skill development and professional growth.
This internship program will enhance your professional and personal development through mentoring and coaching sessions with tenured colleagues.
This will last up to 12 months with a minimum of 25 work hours per week. You will have the opportunity for a permanent role depending on the success of your internship and open roles at the time.
Qualifications
- University student in 2nd – 4th year with an academic focus in biotechnology, engineering, business, or economics
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency in MS Excel, knowledge of analytical or BI tools like Alteryx, Tableau, etc. and programming basics would be an asset
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
- Drive and passion to deliver on challenging projects
- Energetic, collaborative work style
- Fluent in both written and spoken English
