Position Overview:
We are seeking a motivated Frontend Development Intern for a 3-month placement within Controlant’s Technology Department. In this role, you will contribute to the development of our user-facing web applications and internal frontend tools what support our teams and customers. This internship offers hands-on experience in frontend engineering within a structured environment, providing opportunities to collaborate with both technical and non-technical stakeholders. You’ll gain a strong foundation in modern frontend development and professional growth in a fast-paced, high-impact environment.  

Key Responsibilities:  

• Contribute to the design and implementation of frontend components and application features based on defined requirements, aligned with discipline standards and practices. 

• Collaborate with international team members and stakeholders to understand business and technical needs. 

• Support requirement analysis and participate in technical design sessions for frontend solutions. 

• Deliver scoped frontend tasks or features with guidance, ensuring work is reliable, maintainable, and meets quality expectations. 

• Assist in testing, validation, debugging, and improvements of frontend deliverables. 

• Document technical work clearly and accurately to support maintainability and handover. 

• Work within Controlant’s processes, safety requirements, and quality standards. 

• Seek feedback, apply learnings, and proactively improve your own ways of working. 

Qualifications:  

• At least two years of study towards a university degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. 

• Hands on experience with TypeScript / JavaScript and React. 

• Familiarity with working with REST APIs from the frontend. 

• Strong attention to detail and methodical approach to building high-quality user interfaces. 

• Experience with Git and version control workflows. 

• Collaborative, curious, and comfortable asking for guidance.  

• Good written and spoken English. 

• Located in Wroclaw and ready to work in hybrid mode (50% on-site). 

Nice to Have: 

• A portfolio of coding side projects or open-source contributions. 

• Experience with Jira or similar issue-tracking systems. 

• Familiarity with frontend testing tools and practices. 

• Awareness of UI/UX principles and responsive design.
